Fredy Studer
Fredy Studer is a worldwide reknowned drummer with an uncompromising drive. Nevertheless, he is also a master of fine sounds on different metals, gongs and big drums.
Starting as the drummer of the legendary group "OM", Studer attained his international status most recently through his collaboration with Pierre Favre, Jack DeJohnette and Dom Um Romao in the group "Percussion Profiles".
As a member of the groups "Red Twist & Tuned Arrow," "Koch/Schutz/Studer" and "Doran/Studer/Tacuma", Fredy Studer plays a rock-oriented, improvised music.
Recently he also approaches contemporary classical music in his collaboration with percussionist Robin Schulkowsky.
